Write about a time when you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths

Prompt- Write about a time when you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths

Prompt Response- A time that I felt connected with nature was when I was in elementary school, on earth day we would go outside and help clean up the plastic and trash on the road or around the forest. We would put the plastic and trash that we found and put them inside bags to put them into the trash where they belong. By taking and picking up the trash it felt like we were helping the earth. It's important to help the earth because it gives us so much beauty and life, so we need to give back to it too.

Summary-  Today we looked at a PowerPoint about Native American literature and some of their lifestyles.

Reflection- I relearned that Native Americans would always tell their stories with their words and not write them down.
