Prompt: Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

A time that someone has had a lasting impact was last year, I was talking to my mom about how someone was pissing me off at dance, and how they were just doing everything wrong and how they never knew what they were doing in the dance. She listened to me talking about this person and when I was done she asked me to see the situation from the girl's point of view. She probably feels really bad and maybe is struggling at home. Looking at a situation from different perspectives can easily show you how your perspective is not the only thing going on. It is important to have empathy in these types of situations, because you never know the struggles that they are facing.
