Prompt: Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

A time that I had to step out of my comfort zone was during the summer. My dad's car was in the car shop and he needed to go and get it. My mom was asleep and he was trying to get a Uber to take him to the shop but they couldn't come in time. So he asked me if I could drive him to the shop. I was a little nervous but I drove him. The trouble came when I was driving back. I accidentally chose the route that would take me on the highway. I was really nervous and super scared. I got on the highway and It was so slow and I didn't know what I was doing because I had not been on the highway alone. So I kept missing my exits and I was just really scared. But it worked out in the end.

Summary- we read an excerpt of a story about how a man killed another man in war and we started to work on an argument connecting to the story

Reflection-  analyzing claims in the text and collecting evidence while reading the story.
