When I was a sophomore, my friend wanted me to skip class with her and just walk around the school. I thought about it a lot and did not know if it was a good decision because I would be skipping one of my classes that I did not quite understand and it was one of the more important classes. But eventually I agreed because it seemed cool. I later found out that we learned something really important in class that was pretty difficult to learn outside of the teachers instruction. I realized how I should not have skipped class and should have learned to topic. I really felt as though I would seem cool for skipping class because it is so normalized now and I thought it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

summary- Today we prepped to read a poem and then dug deeper into the meaning of the poem.
reflection- learning the phrases in the poem and what they mean and what the author was trying to send as a message from the poem.
