My favorite rhetorical device is metaphors. I love metaphors because of how powerful they can be when used in literature.  I think that it is the most compelling because of how random they can be, but really have a deep meaning. The sentence can seem silly at first, but once you dig deep into the metaphor, the true meaning is shown and it usually really important and has a deep meaning. I especially love when music artist use metaphors in songs. It just give the song so much more depth and provides so much meaning to the song. I feel like people have special connections to songs with metaphors in them because of their meanings.

Summary- Today we took a test on rhetorical devices.
Reflection- A final lesson about rhetorical devices.
